Privacy Policy
Your editing work is processed on your device. Optional AI features send the content needed for your request to your chosen AI provider. Microsoft handles Store purchases.
1. Scope and publisher
This policy covers the Microsoft Store version of SVG Animator Pro for Windows, published by Jimmy Nguyen (Store ID: 9N5N761JTC9C). It also explains visits to this policy page and support communications. Other distributions may have different data practices.
2. Local editing and storage
SVG files, images, animation tracks and project content are processed locally for ordinary editing, previewing and exporting. These features do not upload your project to the publisher. Exported files are saved where you choose.
The app uses local WebView storage for settings such as your AI provider and model, AI usage count, and recent project or export names. Project content stays in the running editor unless you save it. This version does not provide automatic cloud backup.
3. Optional AI features
When you request AI generation, image analysis, SVG optimization, animation generation or map information, the app sends your prompt, relevant SVG content and any image needed for the request to the configured provider: Google Gemini, OpenAI or OpenRouter. Image generation and map features currently require Google Gemini. A map query can contain a place you enter; the app does not automatically obtain your device's GPS location.
Your API key is sent to the provider to authenticate requests. Providers also receive network information such as your IP address when you connect. OpenRouter can route your request to the model provider you choose. Providers may process or retain requests under their own terms and privacy policies, and may charge for use. Review their policies before sending personal or confidential information. You can edit and export without using AI.
4. API key handling
In the Windows Store version, new AI API keys are kept in application memory for the current session instead of being saved to localStorage. Closing the app ends that session. Clear the key in Settings and save to remove the active key. If an older version saved a key in localStorage, this version attempts to move it into the current session and remove the stored copy when local storage is accessible.
5. Purchases and licensing
Microsoft Store handles your Microsoft account and payment for the Pro add-on. The app reads the active add-on entitlement to enable Pro and offers Restore purchases to check the entitlement again. The app does not receive your payment card details. This Store version does not use the publisher's web license server or run imported JavaScript extensions.
Microsoft processes Store and Windows service data under the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
6. Analytics, this page and support
The current Store version does not include publisher-operated advertising, analytics or automatic project-upload services. This policy page uses no JavaScript, analytics scripts, forms or third-party fonts. It is intended to be hosted on GitHub Pages; GitHub may process visitor network information and logs under the GitHub Privacy Statement. External links open services with their own policies.
If you email support, Jimmy Nguyen receives your email address, message and any attachments you send. This information is used to answer your request, investigate reported problems and maintain relevant support records. Do not send API keys, passwords or payment details. Support correspondence is kept as needed to handle your request and related follow-up or legal obligations; you can request deletion by email.
7. Your choices and deletion
You can avoid AI, clear your API key, and delete project or exported files from your device. Clearing the app's WebView/profile data removes stored settings and names. Uninstalling does not delete files you saved outside the app's data area. Local deletion does not delete information already processed by Microsoft, GitHub or an AI provider; use their controls or contact them for those requests. Contact the publisher about support correspondence or other privacy questions.
